August is here again and so is International Left handers day.
International left handers day is celebrated annually on every 13th of August. It was first celebrated in 1976 but since then not much has been done with the celebrations, the reason why many people do not know about the day. Now it is mostly individual lefties who make mention of the day when it is here.
It is a day set aside to create awareness about Left handed people and provide information about left handedness. Last year as part of the celebrations I wrote about it here
This year, I am still on the awareness creation as many people still do not know about this day. Now that you know about the day, tell others about it and on the 13th of August, take time and appreciate a left handed person for " Everyone is born right-handed...only the greatest overcome it"- Author Unknown
